Wood Home Decor
Wood & Nails creates beautiful cutting boards, home goods, and furniture. I recently purchased one of the cutting boards for a client gift and they loved it! From dining tables, to blanket ladders, they have a variety of options to gift someone in your life.
Nature Inspired Necklaces + Prints
My friend Grace is the founder of Earth Clay and she creates the most beautiful artwork! Not only does she have a necklace for every National Park, but she makes so many other pretty floral and nature-inspired clay necklaces. And she even create custom necklaces based on wedding bouquets.
One of my favorite items from her shop is this National Park T-shirt that includes all of the designs for her necklaces in a sketched version.
Last year, I gave this Zion National Park print to my sister-in-law to celebrate a trip we had been on. You can find all the prints HERE.
Candles
My absolute favorite candles are from Koselig Candle Co! The owners Matt and Blake hand pour, label, package, and ship all of the candles they make. On their site, they explain that “The Norwegian word Koselig means cozy – but there’s so much more to it than that. It’s a simple warmth, provided by a person, place or atmosphere. It’s the conversations that lead somewhere, that first sip of coffee, a crackling fire and the laughter of a friend. It’s the small things in life.”
The Lavender and Spruce scent is one of my favorite scents for burning any time of year – but during especially the holiday season! If you’re looking for a great gift idea for friends in your life, the 6 Scent Traveler Bundle is great because you can split it up into multiple gifts.
Minnesota Apparel
Made in Minn began in July of 2020, which is when Willaby Way was started as well! The owner, Natalie, works on a variety of fabrics – everything from blended cotton sweatshirts, twill baseball caps, canvas totes, to cotton towels to create embroidered apparel. I love this Minnesota sweatshirt. If you’re in need of custom embroidery, Made in Minn offers that service too!
is an abstract painter, collage artist + muralist, based in Minneapolis. She creates the most beautiful hand painted ornaments. I would love to have a tree filled with these pretty ones!
Holiday Cards
Earlier this fall, my sister and I went to The Kindred Space‘s pop-up shop, which is where we found Jess Bruggink. She is a local Minneapolis artist that creates artwork featured in Target, TJ Maxx, Mara-Mi, and more. From holiday cards, to wrapping paper, to prints, there are so many amazing gifts in her shop. I love these holiday cards that come in a pack of 5!
Gift Boxes
When I was gifted a gift box from Mercy Forest Co., I knew I had to check out this shop! It is a curated gifting service that provides beautifully curated items, carefully wrapped and presented in a simple box with a meaningful note that you can personalize. We recently got our maternity photos back from Kira Savage Photo and LOVE them! If you’re looking for some family photos, engagement pics, or a wedding photographer, definitely check her out.
Chiropractic
Throughout my pregnancy, I’ve been going to Chiro For Moms and cannot recommend it enough! They gifted me sessions and it’s been an incredible blessing to have this service as I grow our sweet Willababy. Dr. Jesse and her team are amazing at what they do and serve women and kids. Wedding Planning + Realtor
Brit Halloran owns Juniper & Jean, where she combined her love of weddings and homes to help people celebrate through life’s biggest seasons. I met Brit through Instagram and have loved getting to know more about how she serves her clients through wedding planning and buying a home. For all of your self-care needs this holiday season, check out The Loft of Beauty. You could also buy a gift certificate to love on someone in your life too! They offer services for lashes, brows, and bronze sprays. One of the co-founders and owners is from my hometown and it’s been so cool to watch the company grow.
Eats
MINNEØATS
MINNEØATS is a packaged granola and oatmeal catering company. It was founded by 3 friends who love food and fellowship. They started the company in 2017 by putting their own twist on the classic oatmeal bowl. They’re located in White Bear Lake and cater for local events including grad parties, weddings, corporate events, and more.
Brickhouse
Brickhouse is one of my favorite restaurants and it’s located in downtown White Bear Lake. Their menu features brunch, lunch, and dinner options. The style of the restaurant has a really cool industrial vibe and in the summer, you can enjoy a drink or meal on their rooftop patio. Plus a fun fact is that I was able to connect with the owner of Brickhouse when I designed renderings for her home!
Anchor Coffee House
The Anchor Coffee House is my go-to spot for a seasonal drink or spot when I want to connect with friends over a cup of coffee. They are located right next to the Brickhouse in downtown White Bear Lake. They also offer a light breakfast and lunch menu too, so you can stay for awhile!
