It’s the final reveal of the Holdridge Modern Tudor project – the porch and living room! This entire home has been such a joy to get to work on and this porch definitely steals the show.
Magney Architecture drew up the plans for this addition and Lecy Bros Homes & Remodeling did an amazing job with construction. Chelsie Lopez captured the space so well.
Porch
The clients added on this space to enjoy their beautiful view all year round. Can you just imagine this space with the fall colors or during a pretty winter snow?! Beams highlight the vaulted ceiling and add warmth and character to the room.
The 52″ indoor/outdoor ceiling fan helps with airflow and recessed cans provide additional light when the sun goes down.
For the furniture, our goal was to bring in pieces that were comfortable for the whole family, allowed for flexibility, and went with the overall style of the home. The outdoor sofa has weather resistant cushions and a rounded back that gives it an organic feel. It matches the coffee table and swivel chairs for a cohesive look.
This space is accessed through the dining room, which is open to the living room and kitchen as well. It truly feels like one large space when the doors are open, which is perfect for entertaining and family time.
The doors below lead out to their new deck. With easy access to both the indoors and out, this porch is the perfect place to relax.

Living Room + Dining Room
We also refreshed the living room and dining space with new lighting, decor, and artwork. A new chandelier over the dining table nods to the modern Tudor style we’ve incorporated into this home.
By styling the bar area with old and new pieces, this home has a curated and collected look.
Over by the fireplace, new battery powered black sconces tie into the other new lighting.
The new mirror by the window plays into the old world charm of the other decor elements.
